Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the CFI Credit Report Companion Chrome extension handles information.

Purpose

The extension helps an authorized employee select accounts displayed on a CFILifePlan credit report and prepare operator-reviewed DTC and FTC text.

Information the extension accesses

While the employee is viewing the supported CFILifePlan report page, the extension reads account information needed for the selected entries, including creditor names, balances, account numbers as already masked by the report, open dates, and bureau presence. It also processes edits and selections entered by the employee.

Local session storage

Active drafts are stored only in Chrome’s session storage and are separated by browser tab. They may survive a refresh in the same tab, but are removed when the tab closes or Chrome exits.

No transmission or external storage

The extension does not transmit report information, completed drafts, CRM information, credentials, browsing history, or usage analytics to the publisher, Cloudflare, or any third party. It has no application server, external database, advertising, analytics, or remote code.

No sale or sharing

The publisher does not sell, rent, share, or use report information for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any purpose outside the extension’s stated report-companion function.

Permissions

Employee responsibility

The employee determines account eligibility, reviews all generated text, and performs any CRM activity. The extension does not make credit decisions, submit disputes, or read from or write to the CRM.

Questions

Privacy questions may be directed through the verified developer contact information displayed on the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing.
